Ángel Martín Correa (Rosario, 9 March 1995) is an Argentine forward and a world champion with the national team at the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar. A product of San Lorenzo de Almagro, he was a key figure in the club's 2014 Copa Libertadores triumph before moving to Europe.
At Atlético de Madrid, under Diego Simeone, he played hundreds of matches across almost a decade, winning the UEFA Europa League (2018), the UEFA Super Cup (2018) and La Liga (2020-2021). With Argentina he was also part of the squad that won the 2021 Copa América.
A versatile, dynamic forward with sharp movement between the lines, he can play as a second striker or from the flanks. His resilience was proven when he overcame a heart condition early in his European career.
